Offensive/defensive Formations: Spread offense/4-2-5 defense

Outlook: Graduation hit Reserve hard, with All-Ohio quarterback Brandon Moherman (Baldwin-Wallace), All-Ohio defensive end Chris Tofilski and record-setting running back Chris Truitt all gone. Kopachy calls this the hardest-working group he's had in his five years, which should help offset the lack of experience. Reserve has 18 letterwinners back, including Jason Lude (500 yards rushing), Nate Lude (400 yards receiving) and linebacker Bob Banks (129 tackles). Sophomore Shane Ewing steps in for Moherman and will benefit from playing in Kopachy's system the past five years. Although the Blue Devils haven't been mentioned as league favorites, they're got a chance to be in the mix.
