South Range progress

NORTH LIMA — A public meeting will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the South Range High School auditorium to explain the progress of the all-grades building project that was passed by voters in May. Jeff Tuckerman, Ohio School Facilities Commission senior project manager, and Superintendent Dennis J. Dunham will handle that presentation. An hour later, there will be a second public meeting for those interested in how the district may buy bonds for the new facility. Marvin Founds, AG Edwards & Sons Inc. representative, along with James Phillips, school district treasurer, will be available to answer questions relative to the bond sale. District residents approved a 7.9-mill levy to provide funds for the estimated $38.6 million project. The district’s share of the project is 48 percent, with the state paying 52 percent.
