Outlook: The Blue Devils lost some key skill position players from last year’s offensive juggernaut, including wideout Scott Sentner and running back Matt Firment. Returning are standout quarterback Matt Krumpak (2,000 yards passing, 18 TDs) and running back Joe Witkoski. Five starters return on offense and four on defense. The Blue Devils have good numbers in the senior class (18) and overall (63). Jack Breegle and Jimmie McCall each enter their third season on the offensive and defensive lines, which should help the younger players develop quickly. If McDonald can fill the holes left from graduation, it could contend for the Inter Tri-County League Tier Two title and a playoff berth.
