Anniversary is celebrated by the Davids

XGIRARD — Mr. and Mrs. Emil David of Girard observed their 60th wedding anniversary on June 7. They were married on that date in 1947 at St. Rose Church, where they are members.

The couple’s family includes Madeline and Paul Moon of Akron, Kenneth and Mary Ann David of Niles, Karen and Keith Williams of Colorado and Michael and Tracy David of Conneaut; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A preanniversary celebration was held in May during a two-week visit with their daughter and son-in-law in Colorado, where they attended the graduation of a grandson, Keith Williams.

In celebration of the anniversary, the Davids received a weekend stay at Presque Isle in Erie, Pa., where they were joined by their family for the annual Discover Presque Isle observance July 28 and 29.
