U.S. Route 422 will be blocked in Girard Saturday evening

GIRARD — The Girard End of Summer Parade will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday causing parts of U.S. Route 422 to be temporarily closed. Traffic along 422 will be diverted at Second Street and at Churchill to St. Clair beginning at 6:45 p.m. Trucks are advised to avoid the area until later in the evening.

Through traffic on Stambaugh and Ella streets at 422 and on Harry and Hartzell streets at Rush Street will be closed at 5:45 and used as parade staging areas.
