Wheatland names new president
HERMITAGE, Pa. — William L. Kerins of Hermitage is the new president of the Wheatland Division of the John Maneely Co., Wheatland Tube’s parent company.
The Wheatland Division includes Wheatland Tube, Sharon Tube and Seminole Tubular Products.
Kerins joined the company in 1978 as a foreman and was most recently vice president of operations. In his new role, Kerins will have full profit and loss and balance sheet responsibility.
Also, all operating, sales, financial, engineering, administrative and other day-to-day related functions within the Wheatland Division will report to Kerins.
He will report to Barry Zekelman, chief operating officer of John Maneely, a company spokeswoman said.
Kerins, a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School, earned bachelor of science and master of arts degrees from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
He and his wife, Kathy, have three children, and reside in Hermitage.
