Ryan to read at children’s museum


YOUNGSTOWN — U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th, will read to young visitors at the Children’s Museum of the Valley at 10:45 a.m. Friday.

The congressman will read “Cardinal Numbers: An Ohio Counting Book” and “B is for Buckeye” as part of the museum’s Superstar Story Special Program.

Visitors who arrive between 10 and 10:45 a.m. receive free admission to the story time and may play at the museum at no charge until noon. This program is funded by the Senator Maurice and Florence Lipscher Foundation.

Parking is available in the USA Parking Garage with public entrance on Champion Street for a reduced fee of $1.50 (payable at the museum). Street parking is also available.
