Motorcyclist critical from hit and run crash

BROOKFIELD — A motorcyclist was the victim of a hit-and-run collision with a pickup truck late Thursday on state Route 82 near Collar Price Road.

The motorcyclist was critically injured, a Trumbull County 911 dispatcher said.

Police are searching for the driver of a dark-colored Ford F150 pickup truck with a Confederate flag sticker in the back window, The vehicle would display damage to its left side, she said.

The identity of the victim had not been released at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, she said.
