Warren woman is a $10,000 lotto game winner

CLEVELAND — Patricia Hoysack of Warren won a $10,000 top prize for having ten words spelled correctly on the Ohio Lottery’s Doubling Star Cashword instant game.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Hoysack will receive a check for $6,900.

Hoysack purchased her winning ticket from J & B Birite, 2430 Youngstown Road S.E. in Warren.

At least 23 top $10,000 prizes are still available for winning. Doubling Star Cashword cost $2. The game began selling June 15.
