SCHOOL SAFETY Changes required


New requirements for schools under Ohio’s school safety law:

Restrooms must have soap and hot water at every sink.

Portable cafeteria tables and other portable furniture must be kept away from students when not being used.

School buses must be turned off while students get on or off buses in front of schools.

Science classrooms must be locked when not in use.

Roofs must be inspected twice a year and after severe weather.
