XCANFIELD — Jeff Frederick and his bride, the former Angela Christ, honeymooned at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic after they were married July 7 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church.

The couple exchanged vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. Russ Adams and were honored at a reception later that day at Avion on the Water.

Parents of the bride are Roger and Patricia Christ of Champion and the groom is a son of Tom and Dorothea Frederick of Austintown.

The bride wore a strapless white gown designed with a cathedral train.

Serving as attendants for the bride were her sisters, Michelle Ziegler of Madison and Rachel Hallett of Warren; Tammy Fillinger of Orwell; and the bride’s goddaughters, Katrina McDowell and Johanna Fillinger, both of Orwell. They wore azalea-colored gowns.

The groom’s son, Cole Frederick performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Greg Frederick of Poland and Brian Frederick of Austintown, brothers of the groom, and the bride’s brother, David Christ of Tallmadge.

Mrs. Frederick graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a bachelor’s degree and is the assignment commissioner with Youngstown Municipal Court.

Mr. Frederick is a press technician with City Printing in Youngstown.
