Aug. 7

Stolen vehicle: A 2000 beige Plymouth Neon was reported stolen from Like New Auto, West Main St.

Aug. 8

Shoplifting: A 26-year-old Youngstown woman and a 32-year-old Poland man were arrested for stealing 11 DVDs at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.

Aug. 6

Drug Offense: A Garland, Texas, man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-six Drive.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle: A 2003 Chevrolet Impala was used without authorization by a suspect at a home in the 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.

Criminal damaging: A rear window of a vehicle was broken at Edge Seal, 675 Victoria Road.

Aug. 7

Criminal damaging: A tire was slashed on a vehicle in the 100 block of Laurie Drive.

Criminal damaging: The cab area on a tractor-trailer was scratched and dented at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Burglary: Entry was gained through a window at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Theft: A porch umbrella was stolen from an apartment in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A pipe from a construction site was taken in the 100 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: Two juveniles were seen prying plywood from a building and fled when police arrived at a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle: A 1996 Mercury Sable was taken without permission at Used Car Connection, 5202 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: A woman reported her identify was stolen at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft and child endangering at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A credit card was stolen at Rulli Bros., 4331 Kirk Road.

Criminal damaging: Phosphate chemicals were put into pool water at a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle door handle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle windshield was damaged at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Receiving stolen property: A New Waterford man was arrested for receiving a stolen vehicle at South Meridian Road and Susan Circle.

Possible counterfeit bill: A questionable $20 bill was received at Econo Lodge, 54311⁄2 Seventy-six Drive.

Lost or stolen wallet: A man reported his wallet lost or stolen at Perkins Restaurant, 5550 Interstate Boulevard on June 26.

Theft from auto: A fenced-in area was entered and a car stereo was stolen at American Auto Sales, 89 Maple Ave.

Attempted burglary: An attempt to break in was reported at a home in the 30 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Three juveniles were apprehended for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $75 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Auto theft: A 1994 GMC Volvo was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: At a home in the 3000 block of S. Meridian Road.

Theft: Compact discs and a CD player were taken from an auto in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Theft: A bicycle seat was stolen in the 1200 block of Woodledge Drive.

Theft: $38 in fuel was taken at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $16 in fuel was taken at Sheetz gas station.

Aug. 11

Theft: There was no forced entry at a break-in at a home in the 40 block of Lexington Place, but two dogs are missing.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A man is accused of using an auto without authorization in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Unauthorized use: A vehicle has been recovered after its unauthorized use at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made on an account at a home in the 200 block of DeHoff Drive.

Burglary: Copper tubing was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Avenue.

Theft: Two women were released on a summons for theft at Aldi’s, 5863 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A man and a woman were released on a summons for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two women were released on a summons for stealing at Deals, 6007 Mahoning Ave., and were also charged with trespassing.

Theft: A woman was jailed in county jail for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. and on a warrant out of Youngstown police.

Aug. 12

Lost or stolen ATM card: An ATM card was left in the ATM by the victim at Home Savings and Loan, 6030 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A tire and wheel were stolen at Shell gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Three compact discs were stolen by an unknown white male at Kmart.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier was used without permission at an apartment in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Breaking and entering: Scrap metal was stolen and a male apprehended in the 1300 block of W. County Line Road.

Obstructing official business: A man gave a false name when being arrested in the 900 Compass West Apartments.

Criminal damaging: Two tires were damaged in the 4000 block of East Beacon Drive.
