WHAT’S NEEDED | How you can help
Kingdom Meal Ministry will open a second site Sept. 9 at Heart Reach Ministries, 211 Redondo Lane, off of Fifth Avenue, Youngstown, mirroring the Sunday feeding program already established at the Salvation Army site, 1501 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Pastor Rusty Wills said the ministry is expanding and needs the community’s support in three ways:
Prayer: The brochure about the program notes how prayer has the power to change lives.
Volunteers: People are needed to help at the Heart Reach site. Participating members of church congregations are asked to volunteer once a month; some people volunteer more frequently. At least 15 volunteers are needed to get the program running.
Financial: Monetary donations buy food and other needed supplies. Checks should be made out to the Salvation Army, with a note it’s for Kingdom Meal Ministry, and sent to the Rev. Robert Quaintance, 98 Homestead Drive, Youngstown, Ohio 44514.
