Eastgate council to offer
biodiesel discussion

YOUNGSTOWN — Eastgate Regional Council of Governments will offer a biodiesel roundtable discussion at 10 a.m. Sept. 5.

The discussion, conducted at Eastgate offices, 10th floor of the City Centre One building on East Federal Street, is open to anyone with a fleet who is interested in using biodiesel.

It’s co-sponsored by Clean Fuels Ohio and the Ohio Soybean Council.

It will feature representatives from companies and entities that have used biodiesel including Central Ohio Transit Authority and the Timken Co. Contact Eastgate at (330) 779-3800 for more information.

WARREN — John R. Morello and William G. Strang, both employees of Delphi Packard Electric in Warren, have developed an improved female electrical connector. U.S. Patent & Trademark Office has assigned the patent to Delphi Technologies of Troy, Mich.
