VexFest in the making

YOUNGSTOWN — Music is starting to blare from Federal Plaza at this hour as VexFest bands set up and sound-check their equipment. A few area residents have begun to mill around the vendor tables, checking out which cool clothes they want to buy.

There's still a few curbside parking spaces left — but they're going fast. Have no fear, though, there's plenty of free parking at the Chevy and elsewhere around the downtown.

Don't eat lunch — grab it there — pulled pork, lemon shake-ups, and of course, brew galore.

You won't recognize the city — Federal Street has become an outdoor mega-rock hall. So if you haven't been downtown in a while, today's DEFINITELY the day to come!
