Surprise party held Aug. 11 in Liberty for Shanabargers’ 25th anniversary

XNEW MIDDLETOWN — A surprise dinner party was held Aug. 11 at Station Square Restaurant in Liberty to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shanabarger of New Middletown.

The couple were married Aug. 7, 1982, in Ohio.

Hosts for the event were the couple’s three children, Robin Patterson-Walsh of Boardman, Vincent Patterson of Struthers, and Jennifer Patterson-Vodhanel of Austintown. Completing the family are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Shanabarger, the former Virginia Hunsinger, is a homemaker and dietary aide at Shepherd of the Valley.

Mr. Shanabarger is retired from CSX Railroad.
