Open house will be held Aug. 18 for Siegel 50th

XEAST ROCHESTER — Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Siegel Jr., 6940 Rochester Road, will be honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house celebration to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 18 at Paradise Lake Park Annex, 6940 Rochester Road.

Hosts for the event will be their son, Kevin Siegel of Harrisburg, Pa., their daughter, Amy Torrence of North Lima, and her fiancé, Mike Langer of North Lima. The couple also have three grandchildren, Amanda Siegel, Ryan Siegel and Laura Burns, and one great-grandchild, Xavier O’Dell.

Mr. Siegel and the former Shirlene Bowman were united in marriage Aug. 18, 1957, at Salem United Methodist Church.

Mr. Siegel served with the U.S. Army and retired as director of data processing at Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital. Mrs. Siegel is a retired florist and hairdresser.
