Mass, luncheon to mark Kalosky 67th anniversary


XYOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kalosky of 2439 Donald Ave., will celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary by attending a Mass at noon today at Our Lady of Hungary Church, where they were united in marriage Aug. 12, 1940.

The Rev. Joseph S. Rudjak will officiate and present the couple with a special anniversary blessing. Afterward they will be joined by family and friends at a luncheon to be held in their honor in the church hall.

Hosts for the events are their six children and their spouses, Betty Jean and Buddy Fares and Daniel and Yliana Kalosky, all of Austintown; Theresa and Ron Petrosky of Warren; Mary Ann and Bill Kolosi of Stow; and Juliann and Thomas Sisler and Paul and Karen Kalosky, all of Canfield.

Completing the family are 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kalosky was a machinist and tool and die maker with Commercial Shearing and Stamping Co. prior to retiring in 1975. He later taught these trades for several years at Choffin Vocational School. He is a 50-year member and past president of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Mrs. Kalosky, the former Elizabeth Baranyi of Sarospatak, Hungary, is a homemaker.

The couple are lifetime members of the Altar and Rosary Confraternity of Our Lady of Hungary Church.
