Coe anniversary celebrated at family reunion

XYOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Coe Sr., 2527 Tampa Ave., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 30 during a family reunion and luncheon held at the home of a son, Don E. Coe Jr., 1527 Chattanooga Ave.

The former Lillian (Louise) McNamee and Mr. Coe were united in marriage June 28, 1957, in Brookfield. They are members of White Memorial Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Mr. Coe served with the U.S. Navy in Korea and was stationed aboard the USS Brenner from 1951 to 1953. He retired in 1985 from Republic Corp. of LTV Steel Corp., where he was employed as a burner. His wife is a homemaker.

The couple have two grandchildren.
