Austintown man charged with aggravated burglary at home in Warren
WARREN — A 21-year-old Austintown man is in Trumbull County Jail, charged with aggravated burglary. He’s accused of climbing through a screen window early Saturday and confronting a homeowner.
Aaron L. Davis, 440 South Raccoon Road, was charged after police arrested him at a home on Nevada Street Northwest.
Police said the female resident called police at around 2:52 a.m. after she found a man standing in her living room. Police said that when they arrived at the home, they found a man, later identified as Davis, in the living room and the woman standing at the entrance.
The man had asked the woman where his sister was, the woman told police, but the woman had lived there since October and didn’t know the woman he was asking about.
The man tried to run to the back of the house when police arrived, but he was trapped inside because a side door had been screwed shut, and he gave himself up to police.
A man and five children were also in the house.
