No additional flights set
VIENNA — Though the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport is “always talked about” and “on the bubble” to receive additional flights from Allegiant Air, the airport won’t receive any of the new service to Fort Lauderdale or Phoenix being announced this year.
Steve Bowser, the airport’s director of aviation, said he has learned the local airport is not one of the 11 Allegiant markets getting service to Fort Lauderdale starting Nov. 14 or one of the 13 markets that will get flights to Phoenix starting Oct. 25.
The Las Vegas-based low-cost airline makes flights twice per week to Sanford International Airport outside Orlando from the local airport, though service has been suspended through Nov. 9 during the slowest part of the Orlando tourist season.

Campbell to sell Godiva
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — Campbell Soup Co. is putting Godiva up for sale, saying the decadent Belgium chocolate does not fit with the company’s focus on healthful, down-home foods. The Camden-based company announced Thursday that it has hired Centerview Partners LLC to advise it on what to do with Godiva Chocolatier, which the company has owned for more than 40 years, but says has never fit squarely into any of its main business units.
Fired for falsifying OT
PHILADELPHIA — US Airways Group Inc. said Thursday it has fired 25 Philadelphia International Airport baggage handlers who falsified overtime records on the airline’s computerized timekeeping system. The Tempe, Ariz.-based airline accused the employees of obtaining managers’ computer passwords and altering records to make it look as if they had worked overtime, said spokeswoman Andrea Rader.
