NCB branch robbed for a second time this week

CAMPBELL — The National City Bank branch office at 403 Tenney Ave. was robbed at about 1:50 p.m. today, the second time this week that branch has been hit.

The first robbery at the branch this week was at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Details are sketchy on both robberies, although like Tuesday’s robbery, no injuries were reported in today’s incident, police said.

During Tuesday’s robbery, the suspect implied he had a gun, but no weapon was seen. Officials were looking for a black man about 190 pounds in the first robbery. No description was given on the person involved in today’s robbery.

The FBI and local law enforcement officials are investigating.
