Mahoning bar schedules peoples law school


AUSTINTOWN — The Mahoning County Bar Association is preparing to hold a people’s law school in Austintown this fall. Local attorneys will speak on a variety of legal topics, including the court system, domestic relations, criminal law and worker’s compensation.

The nine-week course, open to the public, will be held at Stacey Pavilion in Austintown Park, 6000 Kirk Road. It will begin Sept. 18. Classes are held from 7 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday.

There is a $25 fee to participate and admission will be on a first-come basis. Attorneys Lynn Maro and John Juhasz will coordinate the program. To register or to receive more information, call the bar association office at (330) 746-2933.
