Date announced for Holt-Abkarjan wedding, reception

XRebecca Holt and Val Abkarjan, both of New Springfield, are engaged and have planned an autumn wedding.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29 during a ceremony that will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church, Youngstown. The wedding and evening reception at the Regency House, Austintown, will be held by invitation.

James and Patricia Holt of Austintown are parents of the bride-elect. She is attending Kent State University, Salem Campus, where she is majoring in diagnostic medical sonography, and is a sales associate at Dillard’s in Boardman.

The prospective groom, a son of Gregori Abkarjan of North Lima and the late Eldi Abkarjan, is a delivery driver for Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance in North Lima.
