Commissioner Penny Traina said Wednesday that once the commissioners decide what they want, she will seek grants for the work over two years. County officials say they have no money for the courthouse landscaping. Traina she said the work would first be at the front of the courthouse. The north side would be done later. The other two sides are paved. The village of Lisbon maintains the three quadrants that make up the square. Some village money, and donations, go into the upkeep. Traina said she wanted to use some of the same plants. She and Commissioner Dan Bing are to meet with Lisbon officials later this year and discuss the landscaping and upkeep.
