Knitting guild plans benefit craft sale

EAST FAIRFIELD — The Library Ladies Knitting Guild will hold a knitters stash and craft sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 5577 state Route 7.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the family of Caleb Cope, who was injured in an accident in July and is in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Vendors participating in the event have donated items for the sale, and there will also be a bake sale, Chinese auction and raffle for a quilt donated by Elaine Smith.
