Kiwanis convention to be in Aurora

AURORA — The annual convention of Ohio District of Kiwanis will be held Friday through Sunday in Aurora.

Attending will be Barbara Smith, public relations chairperson and member of Western Mahoning County Kiwanis Club, who has been nominated for the office of vice president of the Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation. She is the immediate past lieutenant governor of Division 21.

Also representing the Western Mahoning County club as voting delegates will be Wally and Carol Sinn.

The club will hold a steak fry Aug. 15 at the home of James and Bonnie Spencer in Diamond. A reception at Mastropietro Winery may be included.
