Band to pay tribute to Brookfield native

YOUNGSTOWN — Before Great White begins its set Saturday at Chevrolet Centre, the band will hold a tribute to its late member, Ty Longley of Brookfield, who perished in the 2003 nightclub fire in Rhode Island that killed 93.

Local artist Ray Simon has prepared an artwork that honors and memorializes Longley. The band members will sign it and present it to Longley’s father, Pat Longley, of Hartford, on stage.
