XBOARDMAN — Evangel Baptist Church was the setting May 6 as Wendy Pallay, a daughter of Dennis and Sharon Pallay of Boardman, and David Kelso, a son of Charles and Linda Kelso of Boardman, were united in marriage.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at Willow Creek in Girard before leaving on a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Since their return, they live in Boardman.
The bride designed and made her white satin A-line gown. It was enhanced with machine-embroidered flowers and Swarovski crystals, and featured a long, embroidered sash and a sweep train.
The bride also made the indigo-colored gowns worn by her sister and honor attendant, Heather Mullins of Struthers, and the bridesmaids, Susan Carosella of Boardman and Chris Miller of Brookfield, and the white, Cinderella-style gown worn by her daughter, Gizalia Pallay of Boardman, as flower girl.
Michael Fedor of Boardman performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Charles Kelso III, the groom’s brother, and Jonathan Pallay, the bride’s brother, both of Boardman. Ring bearer was the bride’s nephew, Zachary Pallay of Struthers.
Mr. Kelso is employed in the marketing department with Simon Roofing.
