Man shot on South Side dies at St. E's

YOUNGTOWN — Police are investigating the shooting at a South Side house this afternoon. The victim later died at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Police were not releasing any names, but it is known that two men were taken into custody at 357 Carroll St. where they lived.

Capt. Kenneth Centorame, chief of detectives, said the two men who lived at the house are father and son, and the man who was shot was either the homeowner or landlord.

A neighbor said four or five shots were fired at 5:23 p.m.
