Date is chosen for Weir-Miller wedding rite

XYOUNGSTOWN — The engagement of Hilary Anne Weir and Timothy Scott Miller, both of 1319 Millicent Ave., is being announced.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Howard J. Weir, 6690 Summit Drive, Canfield. Parents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller, 3045 Cadwallader-Sonk Road, Cortland,

The couple will be united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony Oct. 6 at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Their reception will take place at Tiffany’s Banquet Center in Brookfield.

Miss Weir graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in telecommunications. She is a newscast director and Web producer with WFMJ TV-21.

Mr. Miller, a broadcast engineer with WFMJ TV-21, graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
