Rutushin-Phillips wedding plans are announced

XAUSTINTOWN — A late summer wedding is planned by Michelle Rutushin and Mike Phillips, both of 3807 Huntmere Ave., who are announcing their engagement.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church in Canfield will be the setting as the couple are united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 8. Their reception will be held later that day at the Regency House in Austintown.

Randall and Karen Rutushin, 10141 W. Calla Road, Salem, are parents of the bride-elect, who is a program supervisor with Infocision in Boardman. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education at Youngstown State University.

The future groom is a son of Mike Phillips of Austintown and Sheri Nelson of Boardman. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in applied science and is an electrical engineer with Canfield Industries in Boardman.
