Inventors Association to have meeting, speaker

LIBERTY — The Youngstown & Warren Inventors Association will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Township administration building, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. George Arenas, president of Armarko Inc. in Sharpsville, Pa., will speak on Save-A-Seat, a retractable seat protection cover. The public is welcome and there is no charge to attend.

Homeowners association to discuss housing issues

YOUNGSTOWN — The Northeast Homeowners and Concerned Citizens Association will hold a meeting on housing issues at 7 p.m. Monday at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave. The meeting is open to residents of the 1st and 2nd wards in Youngstown.

Mike Sciortino, Mahoning County auditor, will speak about the revised Homestead Act. Jamael Brown, vice president of the Youngstown school board, will speak on speculative investing in real estate.
