Blumetti-Renner wedding to be held in cathedral

XCANFIELD — Joseph and Ann Marie Blumetti, 5055 S. Canfield Niles Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Brooke Leigh Blumetti, 63 Center Lane, Northfield, and Walter William Renner Jr. of the same address, a son of Walter and Cathy Renner, 271 S. Diamond St., Ravenna.

The couple’s 5 p.m. Oct. 20 wedding will be held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, Pa., where their reception will take place later that evening. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect is a physician with University Hospitals Richmond Heights Hospital. She graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in biology premed and a minor in chemistry, and from Ohio University College of Medicine with her medical degree.

The future groom earned a degree in business administration from Kent State University and is an IT specialist with Ohio Department of Transportation in Akron.
