AG lease brings 38 jobs downtown
YOUNGSTOWN — Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann will move a portion of his command, and 38 jobs, to the former Phar-Mor building, 20 Federal Place.
The city announced that the Attorney General has entered into a lease to occupy 21,517 square feet on the building’s third floor. The site will housing the regional office of the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, a Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and a debt collection call center.
“City officials are delighted to have the deal finalized and look forward to having such a significant part of the Attorney General’s operations in downtown Youngstown,” said Mayor Jay Williams. “The AG’s presence here will be beneficial to the entire Mahoning Valley and beyond.”
Assistant attorney generals who represent the Bureau of Workers Compensation and the Department of Transportation will also be housed at the site.
