Teams sought for golf scramble


COLUMBIANA — The third annual Jesus The Key golf scramble will be held Aug. 26 at Valley Golf Club, 4178 Cherry Fork Road, as a benefit for the ministry’s inner-city kids camps and Promise Keepers trips.

The cost for each golfer is $30 and will include nine holes of golf, a cart and dinner of an Italian sausage sandwich with peppers and onions, potato salad, beverage and homemade pie.

The event will begin at 1 p.m., and tee times can be reserved by calling Maryann Ossoff, (330) 482-9464.

Tee and hole sponsorships or donations will be appreciated. Any church, organization or business interested in forming a team may contact Bing Newton, (330) 427-6578. A traveling trophy will be awarded the winning team.
