Memorial fund set up for dead toddler

NORTH LIMA — Relatives of a child killed in the driveway of her family home are setting up a memorial fund in her name.

Kailyn Nichole Orr, 13 months, was struck and killed by a family member’s car Friday.

The accident happened at 12:21 p.m. at 1168 W. Calla Road. An ambulance took the girl to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where she died.

Money donated to the fund will be used to help establish a park in Beaver Township if the township donates property. If not, the money will be given to the child’s family.

Anyone wishing to donate in memory of Kailyn can contribute at any Farmers National Bank branch.
