Mayor sounds off on the Web

YOUNGSTOWN — Mayor Jay Williams has joined top-ranking local politicians from Portland to Albuquerque in launching his own blog to communicate with constituents.

The 34-year-old mayor invited visitors to share input about issues affecting the city in his first and only entry July 25.

“The intention of this blog is to create an open dialog with you, the citizens of Youngstown,” said Williams. “By further extending this network of communication to you, the public, I hope to provide another level to your understanding of issues which affect all of us.”
