Art Outreach Gallery has summer show


NILES — Art Outreach Gallery in Eastwood Mall will kick off its second summer exhibition featuring art created by regional professionals and by young artists. The exhibition runs through Sept. 9. An artists reception will be Aug. 12 from 1 to 5 p.m.

The professional gallery will showcase works made from everyday and found objects as well as abstract paintings and photography. Exhibiting artists are Ed Hallahan, William Barron, Daniel Horne, Marcie Roepke-Applegate, Fred Shepherd, Sarah Thomas, Gail Trunick, Matt Hawout, Jeff Piper, T. Cadena, Patrick Hyland and Tony Nicholas.

The Youth Gallery will show art by local young artists as well as the winners of the Trumbull County Bar Association Law Day Contest and all the entries of the National Packard Museum’s Annual Car Show Coloring Contest.

The gallery is across from American Eagle Outfitters, along the concourse between Macy’s and J.C. Penney’s. Hours are 5-9 p.m Friday; 1-9 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. All exhibits are free.
