Gerberry officially resigns as recorder

Ronald Gerberry officially resigns today as Mahoning County recorder to be sworn in Tuesday as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Gerberry of Austintown was selected last week by the Ohio House Democratic Caucus to replace Kenneth A. Carano in the 59th House District. Carano of Austintown officially resigned today to start his new job Tuesday as Gov. Ted Strickland's Mahoning Valley regional director.
