Funds sought for Canfield bleachers

CANFIELD — A group that formed to solicit money for stadium renovations at Canfield High School would like to raise $350,000 to install new bleachers for home fans.

The nonprofit Cardinal Nest Builders, which includes city residents and business people, wants to raise the money before June, said the group’s project manager Mike Fagert.

If the group can’t raise the money by then, the project will be postponed until next year, he said.
