SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The First United Methodist Church of San Diego was the setting at 2:30 p.m. March 18 for the wedding of Tracy Lynne Kaufman and Derek Keith Weibel, both of San Diego.
The Rev. Molly Vetter officiated for the daughter of Norma Kaufman of Linda Vista, Calif., and Willis Kaufman of Point Loma, Calif., and the son of Mary Lou and Keith Weibel of Boardman.
A reception was held at the Thursday Club in Point Loma.
The bride's ivory strapless gown featured a gathered bodice and a chapel train.
Clover-green gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Meredith Anderson and Pamela Campbell, and the bridesmaids, Crystal Decker, Julie Lucero, April Goodjohn and the groom's sister, Holly May. Flower girls were Caroline and Sydney Anderson and AmberMae and AvaLee Goodjohn.
Best man was Grant Deane, and groomsmen were Todd Benton, Andre Hoth, Jim Milardo, Mike Yagley and the groom's brothers, Kurt and Brett Weibel. Ushers were Scott May, his brother-in-law; Alec May, his nephew; and Jack Page. Ring bearers were Aiden Benton and the groom's nephew, Jaron May.
His niece, McKenna May, also participated.
The bride, a graduate of the University of San Diego, is an assistant vice president at Union Bank, Del Mar Heights Branch. The groom studied computer engineering at Wright State University in Dayton and graduated from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. He is the owner/manager of Weibel Design.
