Boardman grad on 'Jeopardy!'

Andrew Rostan, a 2003 Boardman High School graduate, appeared on the television game show "Jeopardy!" Thursday and Friday night, winning both rounds. His total winnings for both shows was 51,000.
His appearances were taped at the show's studios in Culver City, Calif., in February.
Starting Monday, "Jeopardy!" will run two weeks of college competition. On May 14, when the regular show resumes, Rostan will return for four more nights and will keep his winning streak alive for three more episodes. He will be defeated on the May 17 show.
Rostan, 23, is the son of Robert and Nancy Rostan of Boardman, and has a brother, Marc, who is a sophomore at Boardman High.
On May 14, Rostan will graduate from Emerson College in Boston, where he is majoring in film study. He is living in Los Angeles this semester where he is completing an internship at a film studio. Rostan wants to be a screenwriter, said his father.
"He was always a voracious reader," said Robert Rostan about Andrew. "He started reading when he was 21/2 and remembers everything he reads."
