BOARDMAN
April 20
Theft: Three Youngstown girls, two age 14 and one 15, faced theft charges after 19 pieces of jewelry valued at a total of 607 were stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: A 22-year-old Boardman woman wanted on felony warrants surrendered to police. She faced seven counts of misuse of a credit card and one count of receiving stolen property after a Stanton Avenue resident reported a 1,500 diamond ring, 500 and two credit cards missing in February.
Domestic violence: Ohio State Highway Patrol near Tippecanoe Road and the Ohio Turnpike handed a Youngstown man, 30, over to Boardman authorities. He was charged with the crime after a Bristlewood Drive woman alleged last month that he threatened to kill her.
Theft: A motorist pumped 47 worth of gasoline and left a BP station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying.
Theft/criminal damaging: Someone damaged property near Ziebart Boardman, 7880 Market St., and took three business signs and three sign holders.
Theft/criminal damaging: Two vehicles at S & amp;N Products, 525 McClurg Road, were damaged and a laptop computer was taken.
Theft/criminal damaging: A North Lima man discovered a window broken on his car while he was in the 8300 block of South Avenue. Two checks and 275 were missing.
Arrest: A 32-year-old Boardman man was taken into custody on a theft charge as well as on a warrant charging him with failure to comply with the conditions of the court and/or probation. He was accused of stealing four packages of steaks in March from Boardman Sparkle Market, 6315 Market St.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Canfield woman in the 800 block of East Western Reserve Road reported her vehicle was broken into. Stolen was a tote bag containing mammogram images.
Theft: Two people stole three laptop computers from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, costing the business about 2,194.
April 21
Domestic violence: Police arrested a Boardman man, 33, at the Mahoning County Jail on a felony domestic-violence charge. A Mathews Road woman had scratches and bruises on her left arm and shoulder after having reported being a victim.
Domestic violence: A 13-year-old boy was arrested at his South Avenue residence on two counts of domestic violence after one family member reported being kicked and another reported being assaulted and threatened.
Criminal trespassing: Officers charged a 20-year-old Girard man with criminal trespassing after he was accused of being at a Deer Run Drive home where he was not allowed. He also faced one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A Lake Milton woman, 18, faced a theft count after a 25 pair of sunglasses was taken from the J.C. Penney store.
Theft: Someone stole 17 men's polo shirts valued at 500 from Express For Men in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damaging: A Mathews Road woman's vehicle had scratches on its passenger side, and she reported someone defecated in her yard.
Arrest: While investigating a possible missing juvenile at a Mathews Road residence, authorities arrested a Struthers man, 33, on one count each of forgery, vandalism and assault on a peace officer. He faced the assault charge as well as charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest when, police say, he kicked an officer as well as a window on a cruiser.
Burglary: A woman in the 2000 block of Wolosyn Circle reported her apartment had been entered and a prescription medication was missing.
Theft/assault: A fight was reported in the 4200 block of Hillman Way in which the victims' injuries included a lump on the forehead, scratches and a bite mark. One person also reported pills and medications stolen.
Assault/criminal damaging: A Bluebell Lane man told police some juveniles struck him with water balloons, causing redness and swelling, and causing him to drop and damage a guitar.
April 22
Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 800 block of Cook Avenue through a side window before removing a 500 computer tower.
Burglary: A 32-inch TV was taken after someone broke into an apartment in the 3800 block of South Schenley Avenue through a rear door.
Assault/theft: A Youngstown woman told officers she was pushed while she was at a Carter Circle residence. She also reported the theft of a cellular phone.
Theft: A temporary license plate was stolen off a car at the Southern Park Mall.
Drugs: While responding to a vehicular accident near Glenwood Avenue and U.S. Route 224, police arrested a 31-year-old Greensburg, Pa., man nearby. He was charged with possession of LSD, hallucinogenic mushrooms, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Arrest: Howland police turned a 37-year-old Warren man over to Boardman authorities. He was wanted on misdemeanor warrants charging him with aggravated menacing, inducing panic, phone harassment and menacing by stalking.
Arrest: A Boardman man, 21, wanted on a charge of phone harassment surrendered to authorities.
Breaking and entering: While investigating a complaint regarding an unwanted person at a Charles Avenue home, officers charged a 48-year-old Youngstown man with breaking and entering after saying he was in the garage removing various tools. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he had a suspected crack pipe.
Arrest: A 17-year-old Poland boy was charged with failure to comply with police when, officers say, a driver fled from Taco Bell, 940 Boardman-Poland Road, after being ordered to stop.
April 23
Criminal damaging: A man in the 7000 block of Hillman Way discovered someone had used a sharp object to cut all four of his car's tires. Damage came to 1,000.
Burglary: A woman in the 4000 block of Glenwood Avenue reported a break-in as well as three TVs, three DVD players, a toaster and several other items stolen.
Possible theft: A dealer license plate was lost or stolen from a vehicle at The Auto Toy Store, 22 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Forgery: A worker at Cigarette Outlet, 6007 South Ave., called police after learning that four checks he had cashed totaling 1,303 were counterfeit.
Theft: A man reported a cellular phone stolen while at the Southern Park Mall's food court.
Theft/criminal damaging: An employee with Canfield Industries Inc., 8510 Foxwood Court, found that his car had been broken into and that a 500 cordless nail gun was missing.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown boys, 13 and 15, on theft charges after two people reported their bicycles stolen while on Lake Shore Drive.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman came out of Ethan Allen, 8040 Market St., to discover a broken car window, and that credit cards and her operator's license were taken.
Theft: A worker at Caffe Capri Italian Bar & amp; Grill, 8000 Market St., reported the theft of her purse.
Truck theft: A 1994 GMC work truck belonging to Komar Plumbing Inc., 49 Roche Way, was stolen.
Auto theft: A woman left the Southern Park Mall and discovered her 1998 Ford Expedition sport utility vehicle had been stolen.
Counterfeit: A worker for Cigarette Outlet reported accepting a 757 check for a company, and that the check turned out to be phony.
Misuse of a credit card: Two Boardman residents found out 12,000 in cash withdrawals and 11,300 worth of purchases were made with their credit cards.
Counterfeit: A Cigarette Outlet employee told police he accepted a 269 payroll check later determined to be counterfeit.
Theft: A credit card was removed from a vehicle at Boardman Convenient Food Mart, 8270 Market St.
Theft: A woman reported her daughter's cellular phone stolen from the girl's purse while the pupil was at Boardman Glenwood Middle School, 7635 Glenwood Ave.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of her purse while at Wishing Well Laundromat, 7170 West Blvd.
April 24
Arrest: A 56-year-old Campbell man was picked up near Midlothian Boulevard and Lake Park Road after police said he was driving a stolen car and was in possession of stolen credit cards. Charges against the man were receiving stolen property and stolen credit cards, obstructing official business, having fictitious license plates and driving under suspension.
Theft: A traffic stop on Midlothian Boulevard led to a 23-year-old Youngstown woman's arrest on a theft charge.
POLAND
April 19
Attempted breaking and entering: Two 12-year-old boys were detained after police said they tried to gain entry to a Sheridan Road residence. The homeowner, however, decided not to file charges.
April 20
Identity fraud: A Ravine Drive man told police he was informed about an outstanding 2,400 balance from East Ohio Gas Co. that had been billed in his name to a South Main Street residence. The man said, however, that he never lived there.
Drug paraphernalia: After receiving a call about a suspicious person on a bicycle, officers arrested a Struthers man, 45, at the Poland branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 311 S. Main St. He was wanted on warrants from Boardman and faced a separate charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they found a suspected crack pipe in his backpack.
April 21
Arrest: A vehicle registration check on Hamilton Avenue revealed that a 41-year-old Poland man was wanted on warrants. He was charged with having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, driving under the influence and resisting arrest when, police say, he led them on a foot chase through nearby backyards and refused to surrender
