East Palestine wins, bumps up record to 13-1

Dane Dobson went 3-for-4 with his first home run in Springfield's win over Lisbon.
EAST PALESTINE -- Jake Harvey and Nick Dicello teamed up to toss a two-hitter as the East Palestine High baseball team edged Columbiana, 2-1.
Harvey had two hits, two stolen bases and scored a run for the Bulldogs (13-1, 9-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One).
Pat Buckley drove in the other East Palestine run. Dicello, Wes Best and Taylor Snyder had the Bulldogs' other hits.
For the Clippers (6-5, 5-4), Ryan Williams drove in the run and Stewart had the other hit.
Springfield 13, Lisbon 3
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Dane Dobson went 3-for-4 with his first home run of the season and four RBIs to lead Springfield (14-3, 8-2 ITCL Tier One).
Andy Richey and Jon Mrosko each added two hits and Mrosko had two RBIs.
Lowellville 14, McDonald 1
LOWELLVILLE -- Cody Vocature threw a five-inning three-hitter and the Rockets compiled 17 hits to pull within a half-game of McDonald in the ITCL Tier Two standings.
Vince Travaline had three hits and scored three runs for Lowellville (8-5, 6-3), Jon Calderon had three hits, scored twice and drove in two runs, Ryan Gruber had two hits and five RBIs and Jimmy Sudon had two hits.
McDonald is 7-7, 7-3.
Western Reserve 18,Sebring 9
SEBRING -- John Porterfield and Dave Drevna both had four hits for Western Reserve (8-6, 6-4 ITCL Tier Two). Porterfield's hits included a triple and double while Drevna homered.
Tom Burton, Brandon Moherman, Dave Snowden and Jerod Barker each had two hits while Randall Ludwiczak drove in two runs.
Sebring is (8-7, 7-3).
Jackson-Milton 9, Leetonia 3
LEETONIA -- Matt Shields (3-0) struck out 11 and walked two in a complete game-six hitter for Jackson-Milton (8-8, 6-4 ITCL Tier Two). Shields also had three hits and two RBIs.
Ryan Clawsen had three hits, including a homer, and two RBIs, Nick MacClarren had three hits and an RBI and Nick Serb homered.
For Leetonia, Ryan Gruszecki and Pat Russell homered. Russell and Jon Williams each had two hits.
