Bomb threat at East Side middle school


YOUNGSTOWN — P. Ross Berry Middle School went into lockdown this morning for about 30 minutes after the 911 Center received a bomb threat for the school at 940 Bryn Mawr Ave. on the East Side, said Ted Terlesky, chief of schools’ security. The call came in at 9:54 a.m. Police and firefighters responded. The school was not evacuated. No bomb was found and things returned to normal around 10:30 a.m. he said. He said they have information that may lead to the suspect.
