YOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 6:30 p.m. March 24, as Lisa Bloomberg and Andrew Resnick, both of 1400 S. Joyce St., Arlington, Va., were united in marriage at the Butler Institute of American Art, where a reception followed.
Afterward, the couple left on a wedding trip to France. They live in Virginia.
The bride is a daughter of Judy Bloomberg, 7563 Jaguar Drive, Boardman, and the late Gary Bloomberg. She graduated from Youngstown State University and is the property manager with CB Richard Ellis in the in the District of Columbia metro area.
Parents of the groom are Fern and Richard Resnick, 9 Joseph Court, Syosset, N.Y. A graduate of the American University in Washington, he is director of public affairs and a lobbyist with Inova Health System in Washington.
The bride wore an ivory strapless gown designed with a corset back and chapel train and enhanced with gold beading and embroidery.
Honor attendants were Brandy Hynes and Nicole George. They wore chocolate -colored gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Rebecca Smalley, Quinn Morlock, Dana Waldman, Kelly Lenard and Gen Bisby. The flower girl was Samantha Joki.
The duties of best man were performed by Scott Resnick, and groomsmen were Dustin Blumenthal, Alex Huenke, David Waldman, Robert Moller, Christopher Sexton and Michael Bloomberg. Ring bearer was Matthew Thompson, and ushers were Josh Cartwright, George Zokle, Zev Hechtman and Jason Davis.
