NASHVILLE, Ind. -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place March 24 during a 2:45 p.m. ceremony as Kimberly S. Gause and Paul A. Reed, both of 819 N. 450 West, Valparaiso, Ind., were united in marriage at The Abbey Inn.
The Rev. Jeremy Sweet officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Cindy Shaffer, 1650 Brownlee Ave., Youngstown, and Richard Rodkey of Norfolk, Va., and the son of Pauline Bush of Bicknell, Ind., and the late George A. Reed.
After a reception at The Oceanaire in Indianapolis, the couple left for a honeymoon in Hawaii.
Since their return, they are living at the Valparaiso address.
The bride wore an ivory satin sheath gown designed with an off-the-shoulder neckline and enhanced with English netting, embroidered roses and a sweep train.
A black gown was worn by the honor attendant, Dawn Gamez of Highland, Ind.
Performing the duties of best man was Albert Gamez, also of Highland.
Mrs. Reed is a manager at U.S. Bulk Transport Inc. in Valparaiso, where her husband is the northwestern regional manager.
