Traveling Vietnam memorial to be at Columbiana park

COLUMBIANA — The Moving Wall, a replica of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be at Columbiana’s Firestone Park to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the memorial.

The Moving Wall will be at the park Thursday through April 30.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial recognizes the people who served and sacrificed their lives in the Vietnam War. Inscribed on the black granite wall are the names of 58,228 people who gave their lives or remain missing. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedication Nov. 13, 1982.
