Thunder Live/Dink and dunk

Perhaps because they are using a new quarterback, the Cincinnati's offense has all the imagination that vanilla inspires, at least for most of the first half.

Against the Thunder, Jungle Kats quarterback Kelvin Robinson was content to mostly throw short, hoping his receivers would break free for huge gains.

Then on the Kats' final play of the half, Robinson scrambled then hit unguarded wide receiver Hassan Brockman, who stumbled near the goal line fell and rolled into the end zone. That touchdown cut the Thunder's lead to 26-14.

The play that had Thunder fans buzzing was Kenneth Johnson's' second-quarter touchdown reception in the corner of the end zone. Running at decent speed, Mathes' hauled in Glen Gauntt's touchdown pass then bounced into the corner board with his waist, hanging on to the ball for a 20-7 lead.

Seconds before halftime, Chris Archie caught his second touchdown pass of the game, this one in the center of the end zone to give Mahoning Valley a 19-point lead.
